Who builds TrizLink?
TrizLink is built and maintained by an independent product team led by Ahsan Mahmood. We are not venture-funded, which lets us prioritise long-term reliability and a generous free tier over rapid growth metrics.
How does TrizLink make money?
TrizLink offers a free tier covering core URL shortening, link-in-bio, QR codes, and basic analytics. Paid plans unlock custom domains, advanced analytics, larger team workspaces, and higher API limits. We do not sell user data and we do not run third-party ads on short-link redirects or bio pages.
Is TrizLink open source?
Parts of the TrizLink ecosystem (the browser extension and several developer utilities) are published as open source. The hosted product itself is closed source, but the public REST API is documented so you can integrate TrizLink with your own tooling.
Where is TrizLink data stored?
TrizLink runs on Firebase infrastructure (Firestore + Firebase Hosting). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and the region is selectable for workspaces with a residency requirement. OAuth tokens for connected services are encrypted at rest with workspace-scoped keys.
