What closing your Trizlink account does, in the order it happens.

This action is permanent

Deleting your account cannot be undone. There is no grace period, no archived copy, and no support request that brings it back. Read the next section before you start.

Before you delete your account

Export your links and their analytics. Move any short link that other people depend on to a workspace someone else owns. Transfer or delete workspaces where you are the only owner, so you do not strand your teammates.

Take down any bio page whose address you have published, or repoint it, before the address stops resolving.

What happens when you delete your account

Your profile, links, bio pages, uploads, API keys and connected social accounts are removed, and every short link you own stops resolving immediately.

Billing. If you are on Pro or Team, deleting your account ends the plan immediately and the remaining paid period is not refunded — cancel instead if you want to use what you have already paid for. Invoices and tax records are kept for the statutory period, as the law requires; they are not part of your profile and are not used for anything else.

Workspaces where you were the sole owner are deleted with everything in them. Workspaces you merely belonged to are left alone, minus your membership.

How to delete your account

Open settings, go to the danger zone, and choose to delete the account. You will be asked to type the account email to confirm, because a button alone is too easy to press by accident.

Deletion timeline

Links stop resolving at once. Live records are cleared within 30 days, and encrypted backups roll off within 90.

Consider these alternatives

If the problem is cost, moving down to Free keeps your account and makes over-limit content read-only rather than deleting it. If the problem is noise, notifications can be turned off individually. If the problem is a single workspace, leave that workspace instead.
