Bio page messages and signups: advance privacy notice
Bio pages may collect Contact messages and email addresses pending confirmation no earlier than 20 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC. The new collection remains off until 14 full days after this notice is visible in the app and RSS feed, and until the updated legal pages and backend are released. Read the proposed changes in the linked post; the legal pages show current text until activation.
Bio pages may soon collect Contact messages and email addresses pending confirmation. Collection is off today. It will stay off until at least 20 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC — 14 full days after this post, its RSS item and the in-app notice are all live — and until the updated legal pages and backend are released.
What will change?
A Contact message will store the bio page title, submission time and the fields the visitor sends: name, email address, phone number or message. Any member of that page's workspace can read it; a manager can delete it. Deleting the page alone will leave the message in the workspace.
An Email Collection request will hold the address, page title, request time and a digest of the confirmation token while confirmation is pending. The request expires after 7 days. Only confirmed addresses reach the subscriber list. FilesHub, run by the team behind Trizlink, will receive the address to send the confirmation link; an optional alert may go to the workspace's verified owner. Provider acceptance does not prove delivery.
Where can I read the changes now?
The Privacy Policy, Data deletion and Delete your account pages still show current text; this notice states the proposed changes. Messages and confirmed addresses remain until deletion or workspace removal. For a Contact message without an email address, support will use the bio page, approximate time and message details, then delete only a unique match.
